Our Training Domains
We welcome students from various disciplines to complete their block placements, rural camps, and internships in the following areas:
- Medical & Psychiatric Social Work (MSW): Gaining experience in case studies, family counseling, and community organization.
- Psychology & Counseling: Observing clinical assessments, behavioral therapy sessions, and mental health rehabilitation.
- Nursing & Paramedical Sciences: Practical exposure to psychiatric nursing, geriatric care, and palliative support.
- Sociology & Development Studies: Understanding the social dynamics of abandonment, disability, and institutional care.
What Interns Gain
Our internship program is designed to be a transformative journey for the student:
- Clinical Exposure: Direct interaction with residents under the supervision of experienced psychiatrists and social workers.
- Case Management: Learning to document progress, develop individual care plans, and conduct home visits.

Certification & Collaboration
Upon successful completion of the training period, Theressa Bhavan provides an Official Internship Certificate detailing the hours completed and the specific skills acquired. We are proud to collaborate with various prestigious colleges and universities across Kerala and beyond.
